Have you ever wondered how to engage in combat with guns? Want to increase your concealed carry skills with live practical training?
Rockland Indoor Shooting is now offering an 8 hour Art of Gunfighting course for January that is sure to get you well-tuned and comfortable with using your weapon for those “what-if” situations under instructors Jose Guerra, a retired NYPD ESU and Scott Vignola, owner and lead instructor of RISE.
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Semi-Auto Pistol only (minimum caliber 9mm)
- Minimum three pistol magazines
- Holster and double magazine holder (Duty rig, Comp Rig or CCW type allowed. Serpa Holsters-LEO only.) No Appendix or Ankle carry holsters.
- Eye and ear protection (electronic ear protection preferred)
- Minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition
- No loose clothing allowed; no apparel with drawstrings or any strings hanging.
For those that have yet to visit RISE, you will need to register prior to going on the range. The registration consists of filling out a waiver, showing your pistol permit and driver’s license, receiving a RISE card and watching a 7-minute safety video.
FYI, we will NOT use the credit card you registered with as payment for the class. The credit card information will be deleted as soon as you arrive. Your credit card will only be used if you do not cancel 24 hours prior to the start of class or if you do not show up. You will pay for the course at our sales register. The course cost is $250. There will be a 3.5% fee that will be charged to all card payments.
